Our Services

Tax Services
Several major tax acts were passed in recent years, resulting in constantly changing tax rates, laws, and sunset provisions. Faced with increasingly complex tax laws and an uncertain future, it is more important than ever for taxpayers to obtain skilled professional guidance. Tax advisory services play an essential role in both planning for the future and intercepting potential problems before they occur.

At Rodriguez Holland & Co., P.C. we provide a wide range of tax services including income tax preparation for individuals, trusts, partnerships, LLCs, non-profit organizations, corporations, and S-corporations. In addition to tax compliance and planning services, we represent our clients before the Internal Revenue Service and state agencies such as Texas Workforce Commission.

Accounting and Auditing Services
We provide monthly bookkeeping and payroll services to a variety of business including law firms, physicians, real estate management companies, service companies, and contractors. We also offer agreed-upon procedures, compilation, review, and audit services. In addition, we provide routine bill-paying and bank reconciliation services to busy professionals.

As part of the audit process, we examine financial statements and give opinions based on the fairness of the presentation of the financial position and operating results of a company. We often make recommendations that will improve operating efficiency, strengthen financial structure, and provide better accounting and administrative controls.

The function of our accounting service is to supplement the recordkeeping abilities of our clients. This includes the determination of adjusting journal entries, review of daily recordkeeping, training of bookkeeping personnel, and preparation of financial statements.

Investment and Retirement Planning
As a certified financial planner, Joe Rodriguez helps you analyze your current financial position, define your financial goals, and implement investment and retirement plans. Since we often provide investment services in conjunction with tax services, your investment plan is not only designed to accumulate wealth for the future, but also considers current tax savings. Furthermore, we are qualified to set up and maintain retirement plans for your business, such as SEPs and SIMPLE IRAs.

Litigation Support
To assist in case preparation and the trial process, we perform services such as defining the relevant issues in your case, assembling and analyzing data, assisting in depositions, and preparing reports in a clear and understandable format. In addition to financial analysis and strategy planning, we also provide expert witness services.

Elder Care Services
Many elderly persons are unable to continue handling their own finances and do not have family members nearby to help them. We assist our elderly clients by paying bills (after assessing for reasonableness), balancing bank statements, preparing tax returns, and monitoring investment accounts. Not only do we ensure that our clients receive full value for the fees they pay, but our involvement reassures distant families and working children that their parents' finances are being maintained and protected.

Computer Services
Today's business environment requires the efficient and accurate processing of massive amounts of data. In addition, it has become increasingly important for individuals and businesses to use the latest security measures to safeguard their financial information and take active measures to prevent unauthorized access which can lead to fraud.

Our experienced consultants advise you on the benefits of computerization in your particular situation, and are sensitive to your desires to keep systems as simple and cost effective as possible. We can assist you when upgrading your existing system or installing a completely new one.
